Tab 4: License

The license tab allows the user to either update the license of the device or transfer the device to a new vehicle. The first time the M-Link establishes a successful connection to the DME, the M-Link device gets “Locked” to that specific DME. This is an automatic process and the user doesn't have to perform any functions. The license tab above shows a successfully activated DME status.

In the event of M-Link being plugged into a DME that it is not authorized, the user will be presented with the below screen. This screen allows the user to permanently replace the M-Link’s authorized DME with the one currently connected. To do so, purchase a “Transfer License” on our website and follow the instructions for license transfers Transfers
