History Of M-Link

The development of Mission Link, known as M-Link, started in 2019, during our direct collaboration with Toyota TRD on work with the initial Supra release at SEMA. During those times, commercial tools available for bench unlocking were extremely limited in availability and functions they could perform, so something had to be done in-house. Developed solely by Mission, M-Link was born and started its life in the hands of our in-house engineers and a select few dealers around the world.

Over the years, M-Link has grown and developed into something much bigger than just an unlocker: a suite of stand-alone features for proper and safe operation with modern-day vehicle computers. What started as a basic OBD unlocker has received numerous improvements and additions over the years such as Flashback, Version Control, Recovery, etc. And in that M-Link is a platform and not a simple product users can expect regular feature updates as our development continues

Delayed by World Events in the early 2020’s, in 2023, Mission Tuning received a patent pending status for the technology developed and used in the M-Link. This was a turning point for the device and platform as it could now be released to the public!
