Getting Ready

  1. Park the Vehicle: Park in a location with good cell service and away from traffic.

  2. Reset the Gateway:

    • If a device was previously connected to the OBD2 port, remove it and lock the vehicle for 20 minutes to reset the gateway.

    • If no device was previously connected, proceed to the next step.

  3. Connect the ENet Cable:

    • Connect the OBD2 side of the ENet cable to the OBD2 port, located on the driver’s side near the left kick panel, usually upside-down near the brake pedal.

    • Connect the other side of the ENet cable to the adapter and plug the adapter into your iPhone.

  4. Verify the Connection:

    • Go to your device's Settings and ensure you see the "Ethernet" adapter under your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth entries.

    • Go to Settings → USB LAN interface. Ensure the IP Address and Subnet are populated. Note: This may take up to one minute once everything is connected.

  5. Turn on Accessory Mode:

    • For Fxx chassis vehicles: With your foot off the brake, press the Start button once.

    • For Gxx chassis vehicles: With your foot off the brake, press the Start button three times rapidly. "Diagnostic Mode" will appear on your cluster.

  6. Ready to Flash: You are now ready to flash your vehicle.

While M-Flasher has undergone extensive research and development to ensure it is the safest and most reliable flashing solution available, modifications inherently carry a potential risk of temporary vehicle immobilization. Therefore, it is advisable to park your car legally and in a stationary manner when performing any software or hardware upgrade, modification, or enhancement. This precaution allows for diagnostics to be conducted if necessary.
