Even though every product and solution Mission sells to the public is built, tried and tested Every MISSION product undergoes rigorous testing before release, datalogging can still be a useful tool to fine-tune and refine an optimization to the general public based on yet datalogging remains an invaluable tool for fine-tuning and refining optimizations based on real-world wear and conditions. Access to Live datalog live view is available to everytoneall users, however while recording of datalogs is only available to our licenesed reserved for our licensed customers. Once the user records a datalog, it will be recorded, datalogs are securely stored on the cloud and can be accessed, deleted or shared by the user at any time, allowing users to access, delete, or share them at any time.

Datalogging will soon become an integral part of our world-exclusive in-house custom tuning. As the only flash provider not relying on third-party tuners for custom tunes, MISSION ensures end-to-end integrity for our customers, providing a single point of contact for all aspects of their tuning journey.

Setting Up Datalog

...

  • User Users can rename the datalog as they please in the “Datalog Name” field.

  • Depending on the vehicle and firmware level, users will have access to “Datalog Parameters” and “Advanced Parameters“Parameters.

  • Datalog Parameters: These

    are the “vitals” data of

    include the vehicle

    containing most important data

    's vital data, such as RPM, Torque, Ignition, Load, Knock, etc.

  • Advanced Parameters: Some firmware versions

    will

    allow for logging

    of

    advanced parameters known as Runtime Values. These are “hidden” variables from the general public by BMW,

    used to troubleshoot or

    finetune

    fine-tune firmware during development stages.

  • User Users can control what which parameters they want to record by clicking on “Parameters” and enabling /or disabling the specific paramtersparameters.

  • User Users can also change the order at in which the paramters parameters appear on the live view by clicking Edit “Edit” and dragging the specific paramterparameter.

  • Clicking Live View the “Live View” button will take you to the datalog live view screen and display , displaying current values that are being read out from the vehicle.

Recording Datalog

  • In the live view mode, you can scroll the guages gauges display to preview specific datastream data streams as you sit see fit.

  • Pressing a Red the red circle button in the lower middle of hte the screen will start recording the log, pressing . Pressing it again will stop the recording.

  • During recording, the timer on the left will start increasing increase to display the length of the current datalog.

  • User Users can start recording a log, pause the recording by pressing the red stop button, and then record again as they see fit. That resume recording as needed. This will create an additional datalogfile datalog file for the new section that is being recorded.

  • Pressing Done the “Done” button will stop the live view and upload the datalog to the cloud.

Share / Delete Datalog

  • User Users can share or delete a datalog they have recorded by navigating to the "View Previous" tab of the Datalog screen.

  • This screen will contain display all of the datalogs the user has stored for the vehicle that is currently connected vehicle.

  • The "Share" button allows for the user to send the a specific datalog via text, airdrop AirDrop, or email.

  • The "Delete" button delets permanently deletes a specific datalog from the cloud. This action is irriversable irreversible, and we can not cannot assist with the recovery of deleted logs.
